Southington, Connecticut. One of the four sub-stations of the fire department. Each has a truck and firefighting equipment. When the fire gong sounds, the volunteers in the vicinity man the truck.

Southington, Connecticut. Southington's fire department is an example of a people democratically working for the benefit of all. It is an organization of 100 trained volunteers who, when a fire occurs, fight it without pay.
